In this step by step tutorial you will learn how to run successful ClickDealer Smartlinks campaigns on Zeropark Push, with a kickass well known, and regarded affiliate network – ClickDealer.
Clickdealer is a large Affiliate Network, they have been around since 2012, they cover over 180 geos and CPA offers in more than 18 different verticals.
They are working with a massive of the most profitable exclusive and direct offers, and their most popular and profitable verticals are:
- Dating
- Mobile Content
- LeadGen
- Nutra
- E-commerce
- Crypto
In this guide we are going to focus on the ClickDealer Dating Smartlink, and show you how to set up and run a profitable Smartlink campaign on Zeropark.
So let’s get started!
What are ClickDealer Smartlinks and How Do They Work?
A Smarlink is a link that contains multiple offers in a single URL, which can detect several things about your traffic, and it shows the best performing offer to each visitor based on GEO, devices, operating system and other targeting aspects.
What are the benefits of using Smartlinks?
One of the main benefits of using Clickdealer smartlinks are that it can be a huge time saver. You can create a Smartlink in seconds and use it in all your campaigns, without having to deal with multiple offer links in several different campaigns.
This also means that you don’t have to create separate campaigns for different GEOs, devices, operating systems etc. Instead you have a single offer URL for all your targetings.
Smartlinks can help you monetize all your traffic without wasting any clicks.
For example if you found only one type of traffic that converts well in your campaign, and you don’t want to waste the other traffic types you could monetize, you can simply set up a smarlink and it will automatically find the best offer for all your traffic types.
This way you will be able to profit from targetings that are not a perfect match for your offer.
Another great benefit is that you don’t have to use landing pages. Smartlinks are loaded with landing pages and it will show the best ones for each visitor.
In ClickDealer’s smartlink the creatives are constantly updated and undergoing initial testing. Their system automatically optimizes your smartlink taking into account the effectiveness of individual landing pages and selects the best creatives for your campaign.
How to find the best performing Clickdealer Smartlink campaigns to get money making ideas from?
The fastest and easiest way to find what angles and creatives work best right now, is by using spy tools like Adplexity.
Since we are going to run our Smartlink campaigns on Zeropark Push, we need Adplexity Push for spying.
We can find current best performer campaigns by simply filtering the search results to last 30 days and sorting the ads by receiving the most traffic.
By doing this, Adplexity will show you campaigns that received the most amount of traffic in the last 30 days. The idea behind this technique is that these campaigns must be profitable, otherwise they would not buy that much traffic to these campaigns.
So when you set these filters you will see all kinds of campaigns that got the most amount of traffic, and you can just browse through the ads and find the ones that are relevant to your niche.
Since we are going to run ClickDealer’s dating smartlink, we want to look at dating campaigns.
You can also filter down the results to Affiliate network level. To do this, find ’’Affiliate Networks’’ in the left sidebar and select ClickDealer.
By doing this Adplexity will show you campaigns that are promoting ClickDealer offers. For me this is the easiest way to find the best performing campaigns.
Then you should check the top 5 or 10 ad images and texts, and create your own ads based on the top performers, and you can also see which countries are performing well and start out with targeting those.
How to properly track your smart link campaigns with Redtrack?
Tracking is super important, if you don’t use ad tracking software, you will lose important data that is crucial for optimizing and crafting profitable campaigns.
The #1 ad tracking software out there is Redtrack.
So let me show you how to properly set up Redtrack for tracking your campaigns.
Adding the Offer Source
To get started you need to add the Affiliate network (Offer source) you work with, in our case it’s ClickDealer.
So click on the Offer source and add new.
Redtrack has a bunch of pre-built affiliate network templates, so it’s super easy, just find ClickDealer and click on the green Add button.
Redtrack will automatically add the correct CLICKID and SUM (payout parameter) and create a Postback URL that you need to place on your Clickdealer account.
You can ask your rep at Clickdealer to place your postback and they will be happy to help you.
Adding Offers
Next you need to add the offer you are going to promote. In this case we are going to use Clickdealer’s Smartlink so we are going to have only 1 URL (smarlink).
To add you smartlink, click on Offers and Add new.
Name the offer, select the Offer source (ClickDealer) and insert your Smartlink URL.
As you can see Redtrack will add Clickdealer’s correct CLICKID automatically to your offer link:
So all you have to do is to paste your offer link before the &s2={clickid} parameter.
Adding Landers
You can easily add your Landing pages in the Landers section
However we are going to skip this step since our Clickdealer Smartlink is already loaded with multiple Landing Pages and automatically show the best one for each of your visitors, so we don’t need to use custom Landing pages this time.
Adding Traffic sources
The last thing we need to add is the Traffic source which is Zeropark in our case. So click on Traffic sources, + New
Just like in the Offer source section, Redtrack also has built in templates for Traffic sources as well, so we just need to find Zeropark and click on the Add button.
Creating your Tracking Campaign
Last but not least you need to create your tracking campaign.
First you need to name your campaign and select the Traffic source
Then you need to add your offer in the funnel section and that’s it.
How to setup your first smartlink campaign on Zeropark.com Traffic Source
Setting up a Push campaign on Zeropark is easy. From your dashboard click on New campaign to get started with the campaign creation.
Then select Push as your traffic type
On the next page you can choose from 3 targeting options:
- RON: You can buy all the traffic from the GEO you target, based on your daily budget.
- TARGET: If you already have a whitelist of top converting targets you can target them by launching a target campaign
- SOURCE: If you have a list of top converting sources you can target them with a source campaign.
I recommend starting with a RON campaign and building a list of best placements along the way. Since we are going to launch a Smartlink campaign, there’s a bigger chance of being able to convert more types of traffic compared to a single offer campaign, plus our smarlink is learning and optimizes itself so that’s why it’s much better for staring broad with a RON campaign and than optimize along the way.
Next name you campaign and select the Country you want to target
Next you need to choose your Bid and Budgets, I recommend starting with Zeropark’s suggested bid for the geo you target.
Next you can select the devices you want to target, and you can choose Adult and Non Adult traffic filters.
Since we are running a smartlink which can identify multiple traffic types and send them to the best suited offer, I like to choose both adult and non adult, then optimize later.
Next we need to upload our ad images and texts.
I recommend starting with at least 5 different creatives to be able to test them.
Next, copy your Redtrack campaign link
And paste it into the Destination URL section on Zeropark
Next is the conversion tracking section, where you can select your tracking software and copy/paste the S2S Postback into your tracker.
Paste your S2S Postback URL into the Postback section of your Redtrack Campaign
Then click save, and that’s it, now you just need to wait for Zeropark to approve your campaign.
When your campaign goes live and start getting click, immediately go to Redtrack, click on reports
Then click through the Subs
Make sure that you see data coming through the parameters, it’s important because this is the data you will need to optimize your campaign.
If everything was set up correctly, you should be able to see something like this:
How to Optimize & Scale A Profitable Smart Link Campaign on ZeroPark
Optimising your campaign is very important, good optimization craft profitable campaigns.
Since we are running a Smartlink campaign, we don’t have to deal with landing page and offer optimizations since ClickDealer’s system automatically optimizes our Smartlink and show the best Landers and Offers to each visitor.
So in this case we should start with optimizing our ad creatives, and placements.
After the first 48h we establish our rules that we will be
-Blocking targets
-Blocking sources
-Evaluating/blocking creatives
To get started we need to check the performance of our creatives, by going to Redtrack campaign reports, and choosing creatives from the Subs menu.
Then you will see the stats for each of your creative
What you need to do is look at data, and if you see any significant sign that one of your creatives is better or worse then the others take action.
ON push traffic creatives burn out pretty quickly so you need to optimise them constantly. Cut the bad performing creatives and replace them with new creatives that are very similar to your best performing creatives.
Next let’s look at placements. In Zeropark the placements you need to focus on are the so called ’’Target Ids’’
A general rule of thumb that I like to use when it comes to optimising placements, is cutting all target ids that spend more than 1X the offer payout and get no conversions.
For example, if the offer payout is $3.50, I stop all target ids that spend more than $3.50 and bring 0 conversions.
Since we are running a Smartlink campaign this can be tricky sometimes because there are multiple offers in our Smarlink and the payouts might differ sometimes, but in that case, you can take an average payout and use that for optimising placements.
Our results from the previous optimized have improved our stats:
Day #1 – On the first day we had -73.97% ROI as you can see on the screenshot below. This is when we started optimising the campaign by cutting bad performing sources and targets.
Day #2 – Seems like our optimization strategy is working since on Day 2 we have only -18.54% ROI which is significantly better than yesterdays -79.97%.. So we continue the optimization today with cutting more Sources and Targets that spend more than $3.50.
Day #3 – On the third day we see positive ROI +24.24% so we can clearly see that our optimisation strategy is successful.
Once you succeed with crafting a profitable campaign you can focus on scaling it further.
The first thing you should try is playing with the budgets. Try to increase the daily budget of your campaign and see how it goes. You can also try to play with the bids, try to decrease them a little bit, or if you see a drop in your traffic volume try to increase them slowly.
Then you can try to scale further into more GEOs. Use ads that are very similar to your top performing ones and launch them in other Countries.
Thanks to ClickDealers smart link, you don’t have to deal with translating your landing pages into many different languages to be able to run campaigns in those countries, since the smartlink will automatically do that for you.
So all you need to do is translate your ads and you are good to go.
You can also scale even further by launching your Smartlink campaign in other traffic sources as well. Try to use the same winner creatives you already have and start with your top performing geos.
Conclusion
In conclusion the ClickDealer Smartlink makes your job easier, it saves you a bunch of time with not having to deal with multiple offers links and landing pages, you can have everything in a single Smartlink URL.
Also if you launch in multiple GEOs, you don’t have to worry about language barriers, the ClickDealer Smartlink will automatically identify your visitors language, country etc. and it will localize the landing page to match the visitors country and language.
The ClickDealer Smartlink also saves you a bunch of time and work by automatically optimizing itself down to an individual prelander’s performance.
ClickDealer is an awesome affiliate network, they also have a bunch of top converting offers in many different verticals such as: Dating, LeadGen, Nutra, E-commerce and many more.
